I’m fortunate to have a very good family doctor and dentist with whom I’ve done business for many years. I’m also fortunate to have a very good eye doctor who happens to be located right here in Barrhaven.

The Barrhaven Optometric Centre was started in 1979 by Dr. Gordon Young and was the very first vision care practice in Barrhaven. Dr. Young’s vision was for Barrhaven Optometric Centre to be ‘the eye care facility for the Barrhaven community’.  The practice has since evolved to an eight optometrist clinic. This is a testament to not only the quality of their service, but also of the trust they have earned from our community.

The practice is currently located at 3500 Fallowfield Road and offers services in a professional, modern environment with state of the art technology and equipment.
