The weather’s turning cold, but this indoor event will warm your heart

It was too good to last. It seems fall has finally caught up with Barrhaven and the weekend is looking somewhat cool and wet.

But that doesn’t mean you need to remain housebound this weekend. We’ve got a special event happening right here in our community that might even help you get a jump start on your Christmas shopping. (I know, I know – I shouldn’t be mentioning XMAS in September…)

The event in question is the Barrhaven Craft & Vendor Show taking place at the Walter Baker Center on Malvern Drive this Saturday September 13th. The show will feature arts and crafts from over 40 local vendors, and all in support of breast cancer research. I love craft shows, you always find unique gifts items that you can’t buy in stores.

The show will feature prizes and refreshments and promises to be great fun for the whole family – so lets pack the joint this Saturday between 10am and 2pm.
