More site plans of what may be the Barrhaven Costco released
Build it and they will come. It’s well known that, as expected, a Barrhaven Costco will not be opening its doors in 2015, but according to site plans submitted by Trinity Developments, 2016 looks promising. The City of Ottawa today released a number of documents which provide much detail in terms of what we can expect from the new development along Strandherd Road, including building designs.
You can view the documents online at City of Ottawa Site Plans
The plans show what is clearly a large building with a Costco style corner entrance and garage bays at the rear. The plans also provide details on what the smaller retail buildings will look like, as well as some landscaping designs.

I am curious as to what else is being considered or has been approved for this area. I know the 2 car dealerships but nothing else.
