Breakfast with Santa is coming to Barrhaven
I always look forward to the holiday season in Barrhaven. I also enjoy the various bazaars and craft shows that take place in the community, as well as perennial favorites such as the Barrhaven Santa Claus parade.
As we all know, the parade is a big hit with both children and their parents, and this year’s edition promises to be the best one yet – with a bit of a special twist.
You see, the Barrhaven BIA has extended a special invitation to Santa, asking if he could take some time out of his busy schedule to have breakfast with local children and their parents. Not only did Santa accept the invitation, he agreed to come for breakfast on the same day as the parade!
That’s right – mark your calendars – Breakfast with Santa is coming to Barrhaven!
Santa will be in town on November 18th for a morning meet and greet with local children and their parents – and everyone’s invited to attend. Santa might even be taking selfies with the kids – who knows!
Because Santa wants to meet as many local children as possible, he’s scheduled two breakfast sittings – one at 8am and a second at 9:30am.
Breakfast will feature pancakes, sausages, juice boxes, and coffee for mom and/or dad. After breakfast, children will be encouraged to stay and do some crafts with student elves, listen to some favorite holiday songs and have festive fun in the Wish Photobooth with family and friends.
In the spirit of Holiday giving, cash and food donations will be accepted at both the breakfast and parade events in support of the Barrhaven Food Cupboard.
There is a nominal fee for the Breakfast with Santa event and tickets are limited, so make sure to get them early.
You can reserve your seat at the event by visiting the Breakfast with Santa Website.
