EDO Japan brings Teppan-Style Japanese Cuisine to Barrhaven
Loving all the new restaurants opening in Barrhaven this summer.
Our latest discovery is Edo Japan, a new Asian restaurant that features Teppan-style Japanese cuisine. It’s located directly across from the Loblaws superstore at the corner of Strandherd and Greenbank.
The restaurant traces its roots to Western Canada and has created a loyal fan base for its high-quality food that features flavours inspired by the authentic tastes, sights and sounds of Japan.
They serve over 9 million meals annually, which is a testament to the popularity of their product.
We decided to drop by for lunch following the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday. And I must say, their reputation is well deserved. They offer a truly unique (and tasty!) selection of dishes at very affordable prices. Just make sure to show up with an appetite – the portions are rather generous.
So, what’s on offer at Edo Japan? Here’s a quick sample of a few of their amazing dishes:
EDO Japan Barrhaven – Beef Chop Chop Bowl
EDO Japan Barrhaven Beef Udon Nori
EDO Japan Barrhaven – Chicken Beef Yakisoba
EDO Japan Barrhaven – Easi Sushi Platter
EDO Japan Barrhaven – Noodlefull Bowl
EDO Japan Barrhaven – Tempura Shrimp Chop Chop Bento
As you can see, the food at Edo Japan pretty much speaks for itself. Great presentation and very flavourful.
