Stand-up comedy returns to the Barrhaven Legion this Saturday

I love when this event comes to the Barrhaven Legion. This Saturday, November 12th 2016, the Barrhaven Legion will be hosting a stand-up comedy night that features a cocktail hour and full dinner. This will be my third time attending this event in support of our yearly Canada Day celebrations in Barrhaven. If past shows are any indication, you really don’t have to travel outside of the community this weekend for some great entertainment. This is a dinner and show that is well worth the price. And let’s face it, we all need some laughs, especially this week!

The evening starts at 6:00pm with cocktails followed by dinner at 6:30pm. The dinner is usually buffet style and quite tasty. But the real fun starts at 8:00pm when the comedians hit the stage. These 3 comedians aren’t 3rd rate amateurs – these are headliners from none other than Absolute Comedy on Preston Street. The headliners are Monty Scott and Nick Reynoldson, two veterans of the local comedy scene, so it should be quite a show!
