Canada 150 Skating Day coming to Barrhaven

Skating is a traditional Canadian winter activity that’s part of our sporting heritage.

On December 10, 2017, Canadians from coast to coast will be participating in a national skate day to help bring communities together to usher in the winter season.

The Barrhaven edition of Canada 150 Skating Day will be taking place at the Minto Recreational Complex on December 10th between 4pm-6pm. The event is being organized by the West Barrhaven, Stonebridge and Half Moon Bay community associations.

The event will feature music, snacks, and craft displays – in short, a little something for everyone. It promises to be a great family event and a fun opportunity to get some exercise before the holiday season kick in!
