This will be my first stop once the Strandherd-Armstrong bridge opens
We all know that Riverside South residents will soon enjoy direct access to the shopping mecca that is Barrhaven, but residents on this side of the bridge are in for a special treat as well. Just across the white arches of the beautiful Strandherd-Armstrong bridge awaits a fine dining experience that should prove to be popular with local residents.
Zizis offers the very best in Mediterranean cuisine as well as fine wines from all over the world. The photo gallery on theĀ Zizis website pretty much speaks for itself. The dishes are well presented and all fares are created with nothing but the freshest ingredients. I haven’t been to the restaurant yet, but plan to make a point of going this week after reading the favorable review in the Ottawa Citizen.
They say some of the best things in life come to those who wait. We’ve waited a long two years for the new bridge, and it seems that our patience will pay off for Barrhaven foodies!
