Winter in Barrhaven Carnival

It’s time to turn the page on January and start enjoying the milder temperatures that usually come our way in February.

And what a better way to kick off the month than with a good old fashioned Barrhaven Winter Carnival.

The good folks from the West Barrhaven Community Association have teamed up with several local businesses to bring the community a fun afternoon of winter activities.

The event runs from 11am until 2pm and will feature sleigh rides, skating, arts and crafts, games, music, chili, hot dogs and hot chocolate!

The event will also include a chili cook-off featuring some of Barrhaven’s favorite eateries, including Montana’s, Heart and Crown, Broadway, Royal Oak, Greenfield’s and The Barley Mow.
